In the following text, we explain which personal data we process and for what purposes. The processing of personal data takes place on the legal basis of the Basic Data Protection Regulation. In addition, further national regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany apply on the basis of the Federal Data Protection Act.

Our employees are obliged to comply with the data protection regulations in accordance with the legal requirements. In the course of processing personal data, your data may also be passed on to other bodies, companies or persons. Recipients may include, for example, commissioned service providers or financial service providers. In these cases where your data is passed on, we observe the legal provisions and conclude corresponding agreements or contracts with the recipients of the data.

Your rights

You have the right to revoke your consent to the collection and use of personal data at any time.

You have the right to request information about the data stored about you or your pseudonym.

You have the right to demand the deletion, blocking, data transfer or correction of the personal data stored about you. If legal regulations do not permit deletion, your data will be blocked instead so that it is only accessible for the purposes of mandatory legal regulations.

Deletion of data

The personal data we collect will be deleted in accordance with the applicable laws as soon as the purpose of the data processing no longer applies or consent to the processing is revoked, as long as the storage is not required by other legal requirements.

Security measures

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk, in accordance with the requirements of the law, taking into account the state of the art, the cost of implementation and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing, as well as the different probabilities of occurrence and the level of threat to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

In these cases, personal data may be disclosed to third parties

To the extent necessary for the performance of our contract with you, we also commission other companies and individuals to perform tasks for TFI AACHEN, Charlottenburger Allee 41, 52068 Aachen, Germany, e.g. for the return of tested sample material. Data collection on our website

How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected by you providing it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected in order to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

Data protection

Application procedure

We will store incoming applications for further use in the current application process and process them within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The applicant data will be deleted after six months. If you request earlier deletion, your application cannot be considered.

The applicant is entitled to all the rights listed in Chapter 3 (Art. 12 - 23) DS-GVO, in particular the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, the right to object and the right to data portability.

The applicant has the possibility to complain to the competent North Rhine-Westphalian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LDI) at any time.

Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Video conferences / online meetings with Microsoft Teams

We use "Microsoft Teams" as well as other "Office 365 cloud services" to conduct conference calls, online meetings, video conferences and/or webinars as well as online trainings. "Microsoft Teams" as well as "Office 365" is a service of Microsoft Corp, which is headquartered in the USA.
