In the PureAir project, we have developed three-dimensional textile filter structures for room air purifiers together with IUTA. The aim was to combine high separation efficiency with low pressure loss with absence of ozone, long-term stability and washability. For this purpose, pile structures with combinations of insulating and electrically conductive materials were developed. By applying an electrical voltage to the material, the electrostatic deposition should be permanently maintained.
