As part of BioTurf, an artificial turf made of bio-polyethylene (PE) was developed whose chemical properties hardly differ from conventional, petroleum-based PE.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly noteworthy is the absence of infill granules, which not only improves the playing experience but also minimizes the environmental impact of microplastics.
