Production and testing of textile floor coverings<\/h3>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t

The first part of the seminar on the manufacturing and testing of textile floor coverings provides an insight into the various process steps involved in product manufacturing. The common surface formation processes of tufting, weaving, needlepunch, flock and adhesive pile are presented.<\/p>\n

The process steps of colouring, shearing and backings are also considered.<\/p>\n

The second part deals with the testing of textile floor coverings. Both the mechanical load and abrasion tests as well as the tests for electrostatic behaviour are considered. If required, fire tests as well as chemical and building physics tests can also be presented.<\/p>\n

\nIndividual design of the format as well as in-house training at TFI or at your location are possible on request.
